Though there are certainly people out there who go gray early in life (and look absolutely amazing doing it), the silver hair color range has traditionally been reserved for those with decades and decades of beauty wisdom behind them... or Lady Gaga.

On March 4, Hadid arrived to the oh so chic Le Grand Dîner du Louvre with her famous blonde locks dyed a brand-new silver shade. And no, there wasn't just a hint of the hue here—this was a full-metal dye job.

Starting at the top with dark blonde roots, the 29-year-old's hair quickly transitioned into the icy color, staying in the same cool palette all the way to her ends.

The transformation was the work of Dimitris Giannetos, who dubbed it a "silver tequila" shade in an Instagram post. After the color and cut (looks like she's keeping that adorable short length!), he styled her locks into an adorable, flipped up bob à la Oscars night Halle Berry. While the actor's hair was fully slicked back, Hadid's style also featured a curved bang to emphasize her deep side part.

What does a silver-haired 29 year old wear for dinner at Paris's most famous museum? Three Moschino dresses sewn together to create one multicolored masterpiece, of course. And rings from ASHAHA and State Property, a stack of necklaces, and statement earrings.

Her gown featured multiple metallic fabrics sewn together in a zig-zag pattern to create one strapless wonder. Naturally, the silver aspects brought out her hair color—though I'm sure she could've worn anything and it would've been highlighted just fine.

Gigi, I have some advice for you that I'm paraphrasing from Girl Scout camp. Try new hair colors, but (when you're ready) keep the old!! One is silver, and the other's gold.
