Let Hailey Bieber's Chic Updo Inspire You to Try the Side Part Trend This Spring

When it comes to Hailey Bieber's glam, I've learned that it's helpful to just ride the wave. Sometimes I'll see a look of hers and be immediately obsessed with it, only to have her share the perfect Instagram dump showing it off—with all the qualifying information to help me recreate it—a week later.

But also... it can be hard to wait! As far as her latest hairstyle goes, I think I'm going to just jump right in immediately.

Hailey Bieber's '90s Side Part

On Tuesday, March 11, Bieber showed up at Paris Fashion Week for the Saint Laurent Womenswear Fall/Winter 2025-2026 show (her bestie Bella Hadid was walking). Sitting in the front row alongside Zoë Kravitz, she showed off the most perfect '90s updo that included a rare feature for the model: a side part.

Just the right amount of messy, Bieber's brown locks were side parted in the front with the short strands left out to frame her face. The rest of her hair was pulled back in the babiest of baby beehives. The resulting look was effortlessly cool and honestly easy enough to recreate at home, even before we can see it with all of Bieber's selfie angles.

To no one's surprise, the hairstyle was the work of Bryce Scarlett, who has been killing it on the side part and updo fronts for another regular client: Lily-Rose Depp. Instead of going gothic this time around, he took inspiration from the '90s. The look is reminiscent of the tendril-y styles worn by other California cool girls like Jennifer Aniston, Alicia Silverstone, and Cindy Crawford way back when.

While Scarlett tackled hair, makeup artist Morgane Martini got to work on the Rhode founder's famous face. I have to imagine she used Rhode for the look, though I will say the Pocket Blush shade at work looks more signature Toasted Teddy than the berry color Bieber has been teasing.

Naturally, the new mom's lips were lined and glazed to perfection. Her eye makeup was a secret as of yet (see what I mean about waiting for those details?) as she chose to wear a pair of black Saint Laurent sunglasses (she's a big fan of the shade shape) throughout the evening.
