Jenna Ortega Looks Unrecognizable With Newly Bleached Brows

Once upon a time, it was kind of fun to be on the internet on April Fool's Day. Now, I'd rather stay, far, far away. Maybe I'm too fragile to be messed with these days, or the jokes just aren't as funny. Either way, the energy is simply not good. Why would I want to live my life in fear that Paul Mescal playing Paul McCartney is a joke?

Something else I was glad to confirm is real today: Jenna Ortega's new bleached brows. On April 1, the 22-year-old arrived to CinemaCon 2025 in Las Vegas with lighter than ever before eyebrows. And though you can definitely fake them, it appears that this bleach job is serious.

Though it was immediately clear she can rock them (not that there was any doubt to begin with), we've never seen Ortega's brows this light. Usually, she keeps them as dark as her hair, which is currently a pretty black shade with cherry-tinted roots.

Instead of the platinum variety we've seen on the likes of Dua Lipa and Keke Palmer, Ortega's brows were colored a soft blonde like Miley Cyrus's at the 2025 Oscars. She paired her new brows with a lavender Versace jacket, shorts, and platform heels, which tells me we'll be going light this spring in more ways than one.

Ortega has been having fun with makeup as of late, and she kept the streak going for CinemaCon. This time around, she paired up with makeup artist Vincent Oquendo for a soft goth look.

The duo added some dark, earth-toned shadow to the actress's brown eyes, as well as a heavy dose of mascara on both her bottom and top lashes. A bronze cheek and glossy nude-brown lip finished things off.

Ugh, what a horrible look. April fools!!! She's gorgeous as ever.
