Though celebrities certainly have their glam teams on call when they need them for a red carpet or photo call, they can more than make things work on their own. Jennifer Lawrence's team is always getting their flowers for the great work they do (Jamie Mizrahi and your closet pulls, I see you), but a DIY'd street style moment from the actress is just as appreciated by fans searching for some beauty and style inspo.

On February 12, Lawrence was spotted out for a walk in New York in a cozy outfit and not-so-straight-from-the-salon hairstyle that highlighted her natural wave. Though it might've been the leopard print of her fur jacket playing tricks on us, her blonde locks—which were an ashier shade when we saw her at the Hollywood Reporter's Annual Women In Entertainment Gala in Early December—seemed to have taken on a not-so-toned orange-y tone.

Jennifer Lawrence's Off-Duty Hair

The natural blonde normally favors a bit of warmth in her locks, and this shade is so similar to the honey color she was wearing when we got to know her in the mid 2000s. I'd even go so far as to call it a warm platinum shade.

Flowing free with some natural wave, it appeared that the 34-year-old was letting her natural texture shine for her day out and about. Even her French girl bangs, which she's worn slicked into a millennial side bang or blown out soft and fluffy in recent months, were doing their own thing. Peeking out from under her knit hat, they fanned out nicely, making it easy to see the exact shape her stylist originally chopped them in.

The rest of her blonde locks fell down her back as she made her way to whatever cool-girl-frequented place she was headed.

Jennifer Lawrence's Maternity Style

In case you're still wondering, that great longline coat came courtesy of By Malene Birger. Lawrence paired it with a pair of leather ankle boots, that cozy hat (I think it's one of Toteme's signature beanies), blue sweater, and black tote bag by The Row.

A pendant necklace highlighted the actress's belly (she's currently expecting her second child with husband Cooke Maroney), it's orange stone hue once again playing into the tone of her locks.
