Skincare enthusiasts are well aware that La Prairie is the height of luxury. Its products boast classically opulent names (think: caviar, cashmere, and platinum), plus high-powered results that have earned the line a lasting cult following over its near-century of existence. The brand is an investment, but each formula includes only the finest, research-backed ingredients to deliver an elevated experience and real improvements in skin longevity.
I've previously tried (and loved) a few SKUs, but it turns out there's a way to make the La Prairie experience even more luxe. I recently traveled to Miami to experience the brand's collaboration with the St. Regis Bal Harbour Spa, which opened in February and is running through the end of May. The exclusive pop-up showcases La Prairie's new White Caviar Light Infusion Eye Serum and Cashmere Body Cream through in-depth facials and massages, and I can confirm that the products and services absolutely enhance each other.
Planning a rejuvenating getaway, or weighing your options for upgrading your skincare routine at home? Read on to learn all about La Prairie's St. Regis Bal Harbour collab and new launches, complete with insights from the luxury resort's spa director.
Meet the Experts
- Jessica Sanchez is the spa director at The St. Regis Bal Harbour in Miami.
The Products
This spring, La Prairie has brought two luxe new products to its lineup: the Cashmere Body Cream and the White Caviar Light Infusion Eye Serum. The former is the storied company's first-ever foray into dedicated body care, while the latter offers top-notch innovation to redefine the art of brightening the delicate eye area.
Cashmere Body Cream
As you might expect, La Prairie's new Cashmere Body Cream takes inspiration from its namesake fabric to make allover nourishment a more decadent experience. The formula employs the brand's exclusive cellular complex to enhance the skin's natural repair processes, as well as biomimetic peptides for stronger, softer skin. The hydrating complex comprises hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, and shea butter to nourish skin in multiple ways at once.
"Cashmere Body Cream is La Prairie’s first body care product, and it launched just in time with our partnership," says the St. Regis Bal Harbour's spa director, Jessica Sanchez. "The texture is nourishing yet lightweight. It melts into the skin, delivering a cocooning effect without any heaviness or residue that one sometimes feels with a body cream."

The cream is featured in the spa pop-up's body treatments (more on my rejuvenating massage later), but I've also been using it on my own time, whenever I want an extra-lush post-shower moment. The texture is rich, but never heavy: It melts right into my skin, yet instantly provides the nourishment I needed. The brand encourages warming the product between your hands first for texture as well as massaging in upwards circular motions for microcirculation, and I can vouch for how both of these practices enhance the overall self-care experience, as well.
White Caviar Light Infusion Eye Serum
If you don't love a heavy eye cream but still want powerhouse rejuvenation, La Prairie's White Caviar Light Infusion Eye Serum may be exactly what you need. It's the latest in the brand's White Caviar collection, which blends the aforementioned exclusive cellular complex with caviar extract (it turns out that beyond being a top-notch hors d'oeuvre, the ingredient restores firmness and elasticity to help skin appear plumper through light reflection). Thiamidol adds to the brightening effects by counteracting melanin overproduction caused by photoaging.
When it comes to the eye cream specifically, this results in a high-impact product that targets dark circles in multiple ways. The oil-in-water formula reduces pigmentation, minimizes cellular melanin overproduction, and reconstructs collagen fibers, resulting in an awakened, well-rested appearance in just 15 minutes. "This brightening and depuffing eye serum is designed to work on all types of dark circles (blueish to dark and hollow)," Sanchez tells us. "It works quickly—you see and feel the results almost immediately. It’s a pick-me-up in a little bottle!"

Beyond the St. Regis facial, I've worked the eye serum into my nightly routine, applying it in tandem with reusable eye patches to further enhance the penetration. It feels lush and rich but not overwhelmingly so, and it's helped me look more refreshed during what's been a busy spring. The effects are noticeable after one use, but they get even better with consistency—so it's no wonder that Sanchez recommends it as a top product to consider investing in after a treatment.
The Spa Partnership
La Prairie and the St. Regis Bal Harbour both represent the utmost luxury, so coming together for a set of pop-up spa treatments "felt like a natural fit," Sanchez tells us. "It’s allowed us to come together to offer guests truly elevated experiences, pairing La Prairie’s innovative, high-performance formulations with our serene, oceanside setting that feels like an escape. Our treatments are indulgent and efficacious, and incorporating La Prairie’s exquisite products into our offerings has been an authentic and organic fit."

The services themselves (bookable through the spa's website) happen in a chic, dedicated room full of La Prairie products and feature four main treatment options:
- La Prairie Signature Personalized Facial: Available in 60- and 90-minute options, this includes an in-depth skin analysis followed by a personalized facial that enhances collagen production, skin elasticity, and promotes a revitalized complexion.
- White Caviar Phenomenal Glass Skin Facial: The next step up from the signature, this facial incorporates cryotherapy, lymphatic drainage, and La Prairie's White Caviar collection to focus on anti-aging and a smoother, more radiant complexion. It's also available in 60- or 90-minute variations, with the latter including ultrasonic cleansing and LED light therapy. The ultrasonic device "improves product penetration, driving active ingredients deeper into the skin for increased absorption," Sanchez says, while the LED light therapy "modulates inflammation, supports collagen turnover, and addresses pigmentation, effectively complementing the product’s active ingredients."
- La Prairie Custom Massage: This treatment brings you 30, 60, or 90 minutes of personalized pressure to address any areas where you feel the most tension. The inclusion of the Cashmere Body Cream adds nourishment and aromatic luxury to the multi-sensory experience.
- La Prairie Refining Body Exfoliation: This hour-long service starts with a full-body scrub using a customized body polish, followed by the Cashmere Body Cream.

While the elevated mentality may be the chief element that defines the partnership, La Prairie's range happens to meet some common spring and summer concerns, too. For one, the White Caviar collection "helps skin counteract melanin overproduction caused by UV exposure," Sanchez says. "This makes the collection especially relevant for a sun-drenched destination like Florida, where the UV index is high."
My Experience
During my stay, I tried both the 90-minute White Caviar Phenomenal Glass Skin Facial and an hour-long custom massage. Both were the definition of luxury in everything from the chic, secluded spa experience the hotel creates to the personalized, efficacious product application.
The massage was much-needed, as my body has definitely been feeling the stress lately from my busy life in New York. My technician asked me where I was experiencing tension and focused her efforts accordingly, integrating the body cream throughout the experience as well. I left with significantly more relaxed neck and shoulders, a fresh start for my calf muscles, and well-nourished skin all over.

I see why the White Caviar facial is the star of the show, as it was definitely one of the most luxe, in-depth treatments I've had. I arrived with stressed-out skin, and the products paired with the various services calmed my concerns significantly. My esthetician did lots of extractions to give my skin a fresh start—but any irritation at the end was minimal, thanks to the rest of the experience. She calmed and brightened my skin with LED light therapy, plus promoted lymphatic drainage with the Fire & Ice Depuffing Wand, leaving me with a "glass skin" finish and further confirmation that my complexion has expensive taste.
"Cryotherapy and lymphatic drainage massage amplify the facial effects by calming inflammation and puffiness, tightening, and toning the skin, and promoting smoother, more radiant skin," Sanchez says. "The combination of both makes the products more effective, and maximize serum penetration to achieve an optimal glass skin look."
Final Thoughts
The limited St. Regis spa pop-up is well worth your while if you're Miami-based or planning a getaway for an ultra-luxurious reset. That said, La Prairie's new launches can bring a piece of that elevated experience to wherever you are. I've continued using both products in the weeks since my trip, and they enhance my skincare and "everything shower" routines with results that get better over time.
I especially love the eye serum, which helps me pretend I've been getting better sleep, yet never overloads my delicate under-eyes with product. I've even recently gotten more compliments than usual on my skin and overall glow. Since my makeup routine has remained largely consistent, it seems that this serum (together with a few other new-to-me La Prairie products I've been trying) has been making the difference. Below, I'm not wearing any complexion makeup: The eye serum made darkness and dullness disappear on its own.

Both the White Caviar Light Infusion Eye Serum and the Cashmere Body Cream are investments, but they're worth considering for their efficacy and elegance—especially if the products target your main concerns. Since a little goes a long way with the eye serum, I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to elevate their routine and/or focus on brightening and de-puffing their under-eyes. The body cream, meanwhile, would make a great gift to someone you really want to pamper (Mother's Day, anyone?).
TL;DR: You really can't go wrong here if a high-end beauty upgrade is in the cards for you this spring, as both launches bring science-backed results and that luxe je ne sais quoi to your routine. And if you're lucky enough to make it to the spa pop-up? You'll be blown away.
