Laneige/ Derek Deng
Back in my Accutane days, I went through one Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask every two weeks. My chronically dry lips were no match for the luxuriously thick, intensely moisturizing formula that would soon become staples in the bags of pop stars and supermodels alike.
Since then, my lips have calmed down—but I still reach for my Lip Sleeping Mask every night. Recently, though, I've been opting for lip serums, which strike the perfect balance between lightweight hydration and glazed, glossy goodness. Thankfully, Laneige just launched their very first tinted lip serum, the Glaze Craze Tinted Lip Serum. Ahead, read on for more details on Laneige's yummiest launch yet, and my honest review.
The Formula
Retailing at $22, the Glaze Craze Tinted Lip Serum marks the Korean brand's first foray into color cosmetics in the States. But make no mistake: the buildable formula still features 95% skincare ingredients and is infused with polypeptides and ceramides for nourished and hydrated lips. But unlike the brand's other lippies, this one comes in four universal shades with delectable donut-inspired scents: Sugar Glaze, a nude beige; Peach Glaze, a peachy coral; Chocolate Frosting, a warm brown; and Cinnamon Sugar, a pink-y mauve.

But that's not all: the lip serum's silicone applicator is also donut-inspired. It's the kind of applicator that's destined for TikTok virality, satisfyingly squishy and the first of its kind.

My Review
Derek Dang
My tinted gloss collection is getting out of hand, but this one from Laneige has quickly finessed its way to the top of my pile. Formula-wise, it's plush, cushiony, and drenched in hydration, all the while providing a buildable wash of color that complements all lip tones. But what really differentiates this lip serum is its applicator. Each tap of the silicone tip is its own ASMR experience—it's bouncy, disperses the optimal amount of product, and of feels like a gentle kiss on the lips. Obsessed.
