Lighten up.

From new to the shade (for longer periods of time, anyway) stars like Megan Thee Stallion to frequent visitors like Keke Palmer, so many celebs are having fun with their hair and the copper color palette this spring. But what's the fun in doing what everyone else is doing? Especially when you're one of the most famous redheads to begin with.

On Sunday, March 2, Lindsay Lohan showed up at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party with her husband, Bader Shammas, and a new head of rich, shiny, and most importantly warm blonde hair. Set against her white Balenciaga gown, the shade looked even brighter—though still incredibly soft.

The 38-year-old's new hair color was the work of celebrity colorist Tracey Cunningham, who was responsible for transforming *17* stars' heads before the big night. Lindsay popped in between Kyle MacLachlan and Sophie Thatcher on Friday, giving her a couple of days to get used to the highlights.

For Lohan, Cunningham worked out a warm, dimensional blonde that was definitely on the strawberry side (for anyone worried about the Parent Trap actress losing her roots, there's no need to fret).

It's a different look than the cooler blondes she'd been rocking all winter, and certainly not the same as the deep red we grew up with. In an Instagram post detailing her night on the town, Lohan added a milk emoji and a honey emoji as a caption. Milk-white dress, honeycomb blonde hair, perfection.

How to Get the Look

As Schwarzkopf Professional’s U.S. Creative Director of Color and Technique, Cunningham had a number of great products on hand to achieve the look. The big one was Schwarzkopf Professional BLONDEME 9+, a premium hair lightener.

"As she steps into a major career resurgence, this fresh, radiant color reflects her elevated, modern glamour, proving that golden, sunlit blondes are the ultimate spring statement shade," explained the brand.

Truly, I haven't felt this kind of lightness since I heard about Freaky Friday 2.
