Key Takeaways
- Marc Jacobs Beauty is making its grand (re)debut on June 1.
- The fun-loving, high-performance line will feature a selection of lip, complexion, and eye products.
I'm not going to pretend it hasn't been tough, living in a world without Marc Jacobs' Highliner Gel Eye Crayons. When something beloved is suddenly ripped away from you, there's a grieving process to get through.
This can be beneficial, though. It's that whole "'tis better to have loved and lost" thing. And sometimes, if you're really lucky, that thing you miss may find its way back to you. Knowing what it's like to have longed for it—or rather, a less-evolved version of it—you can appreciate what you have now all the more.
This is all to say that, yes, that is a ghost you're seeing. A beautiful one at that. Soon, Marc Jacobs Beauty will be making its grand (re)debut, and we finally have all the details.
Marc Jacobs Beauty
Goodbye, grieving process. Hello, turquoise glitter eyeliner.
The Inspiration
“I think about beauty the way I think about fashion: It’s an area for creativity and self-expression," explained Jacobs when announcing his new line. "Marc Jacobs Beauty represents joy, and is a celebration of how we can use makeup to express ourselves through color, through texture, and shape."
The new collection—which we first saw officially teased at the designer's Spring 2026 ready-to-wear show in February and again on Rachel Sennott at the Met Gala—is launching in June with a set of curated essentials for the eyes, complexion and lips. Designed for "high-impact, city-proof performance," the lineup is full of formulas that are easy to use in multiple ways and don't come with a set of instructions. Jacobs wants you to step away from the haughty confines of quiet luxury and play play play.

"My version of beauty is different from other people’s, because I’m different from other people. These are the things that I love—the things I want to see more of, the things I want to encourage in others," he added in his statement. "Created with genuine passion, curiosity, and open-mindedness, they twist and turn the familiar into something new and unexpected."
The Collection
In the lineup, you'll find both neutrals and bold-is-an-understatement hues. All the hullabaloo is mostly about the latter. As the brand explains, "a signature 'Joyride 'Sensoriality' introduces unexpected textures, skincare-infused formulations, and a tactile ease that keeps things playful." There will also be plenty of glitter.
Naturally, each product's packaging was designed by Jacobs himself. Mylar balloons were on the mood board, and each category gets its own charm motif: the iconic daisy for complexion, a chubby star for eyes, and a heart for lips.
"Rendered in exaggerated, soft touch and metallic charms in three silhouettes, each product reflects Marc’s desire to introduce contrast in colors and textures transforming everyday beauty essentials into playful objects of desire—and provide a reminder to be you, in every hue," explained the brand.
The Eye Products
To kick things off ever so strongly, your beautiful eyes will benefit from Drawn This Way Eyeliner, today's version of those beloved Highliners. Available in 21 shades (there are mattes, metallics, and magicals, aka glitter and duochrome special-effect selections), the flexible gel pencils settle into a waterproof, sweat-proof, and smudge-resistant formula with up to 24 hours of wear.

But before you get lining, you'll obviously want to play with shadow. Described as "a sensorial cream-to-powder formula," the new Born Star Eyeshadows come in 14 high-impact shades for "one-stroke intensity in a New York minute." Think champagne gold, blue duochrome, metallic hot pink, and yes, because we all need one sometimes, matte nude.

Top it all off with Flashes Mascara: a buildable, clump-free formula that delivers up to 18 hours of wear in three shades: deep black Onyx, rich chocolate brown Cocoa, and electric blue Indigo.
The Complexion Products
Now, for the face! A perfect blush, bronzer, and highlighter are coming right up.
Topped with a playful daisy charm, Joystick Blush Stick comes in 10 creamy, hyaluronic acid and daisy flower oil-packed shades (four pinks, two oranges, a red, a purple, a lilac, and a fuschia) that can be used for both your cheeks and lips.

Meanwhile, Legally Bronze Bronzer is a "two looks, one powder" bronzer available in eight shades to create "a soft-focus sun-kissed glow, or buildable sculpted definition." Money Shot Highlighter Gel is a one-shade-and-done (why make more when you've reached universal perfection?), blue-with-pink-reflection water-based jelly that provides a "stroboscopic" finish wherever you choose to apply it.
