It's Victoria Beckham's birthday today, but the ever-classy diva took it upon herself to give us a present. It's a really special gift, actually: a chance to dig into her own private beauty stash.
Launching Thursday, April 17, Victoria Beckham Beauty's Lip Definer: The Private Collection is a limited-edition coffret (posh word, huh?) that features two brand-new, exclusive Lip Definer shades that were originally created for Beckham's private use—plus her all-time favorite, the neutral beige-brown No. 02.
Ahead, learn everything about the exciting release, including how the birthday girl utilizes the special colors.

The Inspiration
Lip Definer shades No. 01.5 and No. 02.5 were originally created solely for Beckham. Both are variations of the iconic Shade No. 02, a neutral beige brown that's an exact match for the freshly 51-year-old's very own natural lip tone.
"While these meticulously fine-tuned variations may appear nearly identical, fellow perfectionists know it's the ultimate lip color unlock," shared the brand. The brown-toned No. 01.5 is just a little lighter and warmer than the original, while 02.5 takes on more of a rose pink hue.
The Formula
Byrdie previously named Lip Definer our favorite splurge lip liner, and its easy-to-use formula is a major part of what earned it that prize. Not too creamy nor too dry, it allows for controlled application and fades gradually and evenly throughout the day with Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 to minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and Vitamin E for enhanced antioxidant protection.

How to Wear Them
Beckham says that each color has its "specific time and place." You'll make them your own, but sometimes it's nice to know how the boss utilizes her own stash.
The simple how-to is to glide your Lip Definer along your lip line for a sharp, clean finish. You can also draw slightly outside your natural lip line if you want your pout to appear fuller.

Beckham also offered some insight on her favorite pairings. When she wants "an everyday natural flush of color" she applies Posh Balm in Fleur, lightly outlines with 01.5, and adds some Posh Lipstick in Spark on top. 02.5 comes out when she wants to amplify; she uses it to color her whole lip before adding Posh Gloss in Ice on top.
Do you think Harper raids her mom's beauty bag? I would! And now, I will.
