I don’t believe in indulging a season’s whims before the actual season hits, which means I get to wake up every October 1st with a spring in my step. At long last, it’s time to burn a spiced candle, watch Practical Magic 2 (what was up with that early September release?), and grab a half-sweet Nutty Pumpkin—plus some pumpkin munchkins, it’s a celebration—from Dunkin’.
I’ve even started thinking about what costumes I’m going to wear later this month... and what fragrances I can wear right this minute to transform a little in the every day before that moment comes. It turns out brands were holding out for this month just as much as I was, and a lot of great new scents are hitting the market.
Great dresses, makeup sets, and lip liners, too. Ahead, discover the 26 best beauty and style launches of October 2026, from Rhode newness to tights you can wear for Halloween and far beyond.
Rhode Spotwear in Strawberry
Rhode
It’s about time the strawberry girls got some Spotwear (and a strawberry girl fall!) of their very own. Rhode’s newest acne patches come in the cutest strawberry shape and can be paired with Spot Case: a container with a built-in mirror that lets you take your bounty on the go.
Gamine Microdose in Spit
Gamine
Fine fragrance brand Gamine launched earlier this year with a lineup of sculptural scents, and now they’re adding a lineup of parfum oils to the mix. With the six concentrated offerings that make up Microdose, founder Melanie Dir wants to invite wearers into the creative process of fragrance composition.
“Inspired by raw elements, proprietary accords and unexpected extractions, each olfactive identity is complete on its own yet intentionally engineered to interact with the others,” the brand shared. This one, Spit, “isolates the raw mineral residue left behind by the sea.”
KHY July Silk Gown in Zebra
KHY
Zebra print! It’s such a classic that we really don’t see enough of. But here comes Kylie Jenner to the rescue, per usual. KHY’s new zebra lineup features three dresses perfect for flouncing around in this fall: a micro mini, a halter, and this gorgeous swishy number.
Bobbi Brown x The Met Luxe Shimmer Eyeshadow
Bobbi Brown
A museum of Bobbi Brown products? I’d visit. But until the day comes, I’ll be perfectly happy just visiting the Sackler Wing per usual with a face covered in Bobbi Brown x The Met makeup. Each limited-edition product pairs a signature formula with a piece of art that complements its palette and finish.
Bath & Body Works Essentials Body Wash
Bath and Body Works
Middle school me who loved a sugar cookie body spray haul and adult me who appreciates a sensitive skin-friendly, subtly scented lotion-as-fragrance moment can agree on one thing: Bath & Body Works rocks. The brand just launched their Essentials Collection, a skin-first take on body care with gentle, clinically tested formulas and sheer scents. There are three to to choose from—Vanilla Silk, Cashmere Amber, and Suede Blossoms. all of which come in three formats: a body wash, hydration lotion, and Eau de Parfum.
Clare V Lips Flat Clutch
Clare V
“You don’t need to watch Dynasty to have an attitude,” writes Clare V in the product description section of their website for this pouty Italian leather clutch. It’s true. And while I suppose you don’t need to bust out a lip shaped-bag at a cool party to have an attitude either, it will certainly help your case.
Davines Naturaltech Energizing Overnight Serum
Davines
Davines’ new lightweight nighttime hair serum was inspired by our body’s natural rhythms. While we sleep, our hair and scalp shift into repair mode—the perfect time for a good product to help them out. Perfect for fragile hair, this one in particular is three times more effective in reducing breakage and works to minimize shedding, boost regeneration, strengthen strands, hydrate the hair and scalp, and protect against signs of scalp aging.
D’Orsay Vanilla Affair Eau de Parfum
D'Orsay
Enchantée, Vanilla Affair. This woody, ambery, and super sexy unisex Extrait de Parfum was “imagined to embody an irresistible attraction” by D’Orsay master perfumer Nathalie Lorson. It features notes of Balkan tobacco, a duo of vanillas (one soft, one raw), and white musks.
Hauteline x Fanci Club Clavicle Corset Mini Dress in Purple
Hauteline x Fanci Club
Hauteline, a rental and retail hybrid platform that launched in 2023. really has a knack for working with cool designers. Recently, they teamed up with Vietnamese fashion collective Fanci Club (makers of the red and purple Olandria corset) to introduce two exclusive, custom styles. This mini dress is available to rent (from $134) or buy, and while I’m all about a rental I will say: Good luck when the time comes and you have to give this baby back.
Liis Forest Sounds Eau de Parfum
Liis
Anyone planning to dress up as a fairy for Halloween this year, I have the fragrance for you. Liis’s Forest Sounds is an aromatic, green scent “inspired by rain-soaked leaves rustling beneath the canopy.” You’ll find notes of yuzu, rain ozone green leaves, canopy vetiver, loam, and woods in this pretty bottle.
Frankies Bikinis Birdie Lace Silk Pant
Frankies Bikinis
Another Frankies Bikinis launch, another panicked “add to cart and checkout, quick, before these babies are gone” afternoon. The With Love, From Malibu collection celebrates fall in Malibu, where “golden hour stretches into evening, the ocean deepens to a brilliant blue, and the hills bloom with fresh color.” I snagged a sweet dress, but these lace-trimmed pants are also perfect.
Marc Jacobs Beauty Nude Awakening Concealer
Marc Jacobs Beauty
Marc Jacobs Beauty’s grand return couldn’t have been better. And now, there’s even more to love. The brand’s new concealer (or foundation, if you want it to be) features a slanted brush applicator that delivers the perfect amount of product wherever you need it. It’s waterproof, transfer-proof, crease-proof, and infused with niacinamide and hyaluronic acid to keep your skin looking plump, hydrated, and naturally radiant.
D.S. & Durga Resurrected Corpse Flower Eau de Parfum
D.S. & Durga
D.S. & Durga’s latest fragrance, Resurrected Corpse Flower, was inspired by co-founder David’s experience smelling the rare corpse flower at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden. He decided to translate the experience into something you could spritz... but make it beautiful once more. “All the rot is reborn in radiant hues of olive, madonna lily, tuberose, freesia, deep bog cedar,” shares the brand. “A dramatic contrast of dark and light, the beautiful corpse flower resurrected from dank Earth.”
Shark CryoGlow LED Face Mask in Celestial Skies
Shark
Stimulating your skin cells and de-puffing your under eye area has never been more magical. Giving yourself a blowout hasn’t been, either! This month, Shark partnered with Cyklar founder and creative director Claudia Sulewski on the Celestial Skies Collection, which reimagines all the brand’s bestselling tools in a navy-and-gold, star-spangled palette.
Helsa Uptown Girl Satin Shirt Dress
Helsa
“This fall, I was inspired by the elegance of the Upper West Side woman in the early 1980s and the characters of New York,” shared Helsa founder Elsa Hosk in a press release discussing her latest collection’s inspiration. Full of “elegant, but a little eccentric” offerings, Uptown Girl is for “a modern woman with an old New York soul.”
While I hate to say this perfect purple shirt dress is almost sold out, there are other colors to appreciate—and the rest of the lineup is equally great.
Laundry Sauce Detergent Pods in Misfit by Arquiste
Laundry Sauce
I’ve always wanted my laundry to smell like an Arquiste fragrance, but this setup is beyond my wildest dreams. Laundry Sauce is offering the brand’s Misfit scent—a superstar inspired by 19th century courtesans and bohemians’ love of patchouli—in detergent pod, scented dryer sheet, and in-wash scent booster format.
Aritzia Rae Bomber
Aritzia
Leather weather incoming. Aritzia’s new collection features 100% leather and suede pieces—think bombers, blazers, biker jackets, pants, and skirts—that feel timeless “but still directional.” As the brand explained in a press release, “each leather is carefully selected for its exceptional quality, hand-feel, and natural drape, with materials designed to develop greater character and depth over time.”
Typology Advent Calendar 2026
Typology
What’s behind door number one? The same thing that’s behind doors 2 through 23. Well, maybe not the same same thing, but definitely something wonderful—this is Typology we’re talking about. The French skincare brand’s 2026 calendar features 14 full-size products and 10 minis (zero satchet samples) including seven tinted essentials and four of the brand’s 2026 launches.
Brilliant Earth Elizabeth Taylor Collection
Brilliant Earth
Oh, to browse Elizabeth Taylor’s jewelry collection. Or the collection of anyone who gets their hands on these babies? The first fine jewelry partnership with the Elizabeth Taylor Estate is here thanks to Brilliant Earth, and it features a glamorous array of pieces like these earrings, cocktail rings, and lab-grown sapphires that are sure to look gorgeous even if you don’t have violet eyes of your very own.
Anfisa Ân-Define Ceramide Liner in Bruised Rhubarb
Anfisa
I’m a sucker for a good shade name, and “Bruised Rhubarb” is exactly what I want this fall to be about. Anfisa’s lovely weightless lip liners were made to withstand the “friction of reality” while a skin-identical ceramide and peptide complex takes good care of your natural lip contour. (Cool-toned brown lovers, I also advise you to look at Midnight Mocha: “a dead-cold espresso for an architectural, 90s-supermodel shadow.”
Twilight x Scentbird New Moon Eau de Parfum
Scentbird
Core memory: sitting in a circle in a cabin with six other 12-year-olds while we passed around an Etsy frag that was supposed to smell like Jacob Black. The spray smelled good, but Scentbird’s floral-amber New Moon—which is available in everything from a 1.5 mL sample to a 50 mL full-size bottle—is even better with notes of ginger flower, Tahitian vanilla, caramel, amber, and sandalwood.
Swedish Stockings Roxana Tiger Tight
Swedish Stockings
Rawr. After releasing the perfect orange tiger tights last October, Swedish Stockings did us even better this time around with pink (ahem, bubblegum) and red colorways. I can’t wait to see the fashion girls layering these all season long.
Abel x Tibi Eau de Parfum
Abel
Tibi, Abel, and master perfumer Isaac Sinclair’s peppery, green wood fine fragrance collaboration is composed of 18 natural ingredients, each of which contributes to the ready-to-wear fashion brand’s “chill, modern, classic” philosophy. Bottled up in classic Abel format, you’ll find notes of sparkling timut pepper, orange, yerba mate, and woody vetiver.
Maybelline Grippy Setting Mist
Maybelline
Shake to activate, spray, and go play. Maybelline’s new lightweight, hydrating setting mist is powered by 2% niacinamide and promises up to 24 hours of wear. If you’re not doing your makeup, you can also spritz over bare skin for a dewy glow whenever you please.
Merit x Erdem The Winter Set
Merit
Merit’s chic minimalism meets Erdem’s romantic aesthetic for the perfect holiday lineup. This mini collection features everything you need for the sweetest holiday party look, including Day Glow highlighting balm in a new, rose-bronze shade called Tulle, a mini Flush Balm blush in the new soft, warm pink Carnation, Solo Shadow Sheen eyeshadow in a limited-edition soft brown gray shade called Mink, and mini Clean Volume mascara in black.
Choulie Nourishing Body Oil Discovery Set
Choulie
I’m sorry to report dry skin season is around the corner. I’m happy to report that this year it might not even be a problem thanks to new brand Choulie’s fine fragrance body oils. Each of the five scents was composed
“to warm the body and settle in close.” My best advice is to try all five with this set, then get real cozy with your favorite once winter finally rolls in.
